Sasakawa Women's Education and Training Center (WE-TRAIN)

On November 2, 1989, H.R.H Princess Soamsawali offically opened the "Narinkaruna Building" and presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr Ryoichi Sasakawa, the late chairman of the SASAKAWA Foundation, who generously provided funds for the construction and operation of the center.

Through the Women's Education and Training Center, APSW provides various courses to help clients develop vocational skills such as sewing, hair dressing, cooking, crafts, housekeeping, Thai Massage and even driving. In May 1989 the first training program was launched with the cooperation of the Department of Non-Formal Education.
